V. Venkatramanan
Partner
Venkatramanan commenced his accounting career in 1973 and was trained in Ernst & Young. He was admitted as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) in 1981. In addition to being a member of MICPA he also holds membership of the Chartered Tax
Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He moved to Commerce & Industry as Financial Controller of a multi-national group for three and a half years, which provided him relevant experience in commerce and industry.
He commenced public practice in 1987. His vast experience includes, among others, the audit of PLCs, government agencies, universities, hospitals, investment holding companies, co-operatives, plantations, manufacturing and trading companies.
He is currently Managing Partner of Raki CS Tan & Ramanan, Chartered Accountant. He is also registered with the Audit Oversight Board, Malaysia and is a licensed tax practitioner.
He has been serving as a council member of MICPA since 1986. He was responsible for setting up the Small & Medium Practitioners Committee, of which he was chairman for five years.
He is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Tamil.
R.T. Harichandran
Partner
Hari joined the firm in 2001, and rose through the ranks to become a Senior Manager. He was admitted as a Partner of the firm in May 2015 and is the Resident Partner of the Kuala Lumpur office
In the course of his many years with the firm he has gained wide experience that includes audits, internal audits and consulting, and taxation.
He is member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is also registered with the Audit Oversight Board, Malaysia.
He is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
David Wong Siew
Partner
David Wong Siew Chow holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nanyang University Singapore and is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, UK. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Taxation.
He was trained in London by Hill Vellacott (1971 – 1975) and worked for Philips Petroleum as an accountant (1976 – 1977).
Upon his return to Malaysia he set out his public practice in Kuching and Sibu in 1977 and in Kota Kinabalu in 1980. The Kota Kinabalu practice was the merged with Law & Co in 1990 and merged practice assumed the name Law & Co.
Currently, he is a senior partner of Moores Rowland, Chartered Accountants and director of a few private companies as well as an independent director of a company listed on Bursa Malaysia.
He is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Mohd. Nizam Johari
Principal
Nizam joined the firm in 1994, and rose through the ranks to become a Senior Manager. He is the Resident Audit Principal of the Johor Bahru office
In the course of his many years in the firm he has gained wide experience, which includes audit, internal audit and taxation.
He is member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Nizam is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Viviana Lim
Partner & Tax Director
Viviana Lim is an audit partner of Law & Co and tax director of Moores Rowland Taxation Services (Sabah) Sdn Bhd. She has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of audit, accountancy, income tax and consultancy services. The firm has a diverse client base, including manufacturing, professional services, retail trading, construction and property development.
Viviana is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).
She holds a degree in accountancy from the University of Malaya. Viviana is also a licensed tax agent, both under the Income Tax Act 1967 and the GST Act 2014.
Since 1 July 2016 to date she has been chair of the CTIM Sabah Branch.
Viviana is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Ravindran Narayanasamy
Tax Manager
Ravi joined the firm in 2008. He is a licensed tax practitioner, licensed GST agent and a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).
He has extensive experience in Malaysian tax compliance and tax planning for corporate entities, partnerships and individuals, plus other tax services such as real property gains tax (RPGT), withholding tax (WHT) and tax incentive claims. His also has expertise in expatriate tax clearance, setting up representative offices and work permit applications.
Ravi is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Tamil.
