Manish Gidwani has been an ACCA member since 2001. He is the CEO and founder of London School of Accountancy and Finance, the only Gold ALP in Indonesia. He was the first Indonesian to complete the ACCA qualification in the shortest timeframe of two years. In Ernst and Young (EY) he obtained extensive experience in financial reporting and audit.
Besides public practice, Manish has been in the professional education and training industry for almost 15 years mainly devoting himself to his vision of widening access to education. He is a renowned IFRS and ISA trainer and has taught in reputable corporate clients of LSAF such as Unilever, Prudential, HSBC, BP, plus conducted Train the Trainer sessions for the Indonesian Institute of Chartered Accountants and ACCA Accredited University Partners such as Universitas Indonesia, Trisakti University, Institut Teknologi Harapan Bangsa, Prasetya Mulya University. In addition, Manish was also entrusted with teaching IFRS at the British Prosperity Fund sponsored G2G training in nationwide government finance training for convergence to IFRS in Pemprov DKI, Semarang and Bandung.
Mustaq Ali Maricar started his journey to become an ACCA member after completing A levels.
He worked full-time in an accounting firm in Singapore from January 2012 to August 2014 where his main responsibilities were to prepare financial statements and tax computations for around 40 clients on an annual basis.
He moved to an audit firm in September 2014 to gain wider exposure in the world of audit. His main responsibilities at the audit firm ranged from audit planning, risk assessment, inventory counts, analytical review of audit documents, review of client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control, identification of accounting and auditing issues, and provision of recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiency.
Asif Hayat Malik is Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and a graduate of the Oxford Brookes University with a bachelor degree in applied accounting.
He moved to Kaplan Financial UK in 2008, to pursue his ACCA qualification. He began his career in London with a UK-based chartered accountancy firm where his main responsibilities were to conduct bank reconciliations and prepare tax returns.
Currently, apart from being an auditor and corporate finance consultant at LSAF Global, he also serves as Campus Dean at a leading academic institution in Indonesia, teaching students from various social and cultural backgrounds. His expertise includes audit, business valuation, optimization of capital structures, advanced performance management and advanced financial management. He possesses excellent administrative, verbal communication and IT skills.
Asif has also conducted ACCA training at various leading universities in Indonesia and multinational companies including HSBC, Prudential and Unilever, and has a proven ability to successfully work to tight schedules and deadlines.
Viraj John started his journey to become an ACCA member at a relatively young age.
He has successfully completed his BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and has gained his Affiliate status for completing his ACCA Professional Levels.
His journey in the corporate world commenced from providing consultancy, accounting, and auditing services, while simultaneously lecturing at renowned universities in Indonesia.
